RPA in Santa Monica asked me to create an artful interpretation of The Newport Beach Film Festival name. They contacted a group of international artists from many disciplines and wanted to make sure there was some strong New York graphic magic. My piece was chosen as the hero art for the festival and is currently featured around LA on bus shelters and outdoor advertising. The art will also be projected on screen at the festival and on many printed materials including the program cover. Keep your eyes peeled for my stuff if you are walking the streets of LA!

A movie, at it's core, is writing and painting with light. This collage was born from a stack of shots taken while zooming around the city at night - one eye on the miraculousness of it's energy, one finger on the camera's trigger. BANG!
